Rooftop

The Rooftop is a arena in Mortal Kombat 3, Mortal Kombat Trilogy and Mortal Kombat (2011 video game). And this part of a building is situated somewhere in any other city on Earth.

This arena is sometimes referred to as "The Roof." This is the rooftop of the Bank stage. It also has a better view of the city and Shao Kahn's fortress. Stone gargoyles line the edge of the building. This place served as the battleground between Sonya and Kano in MK3, the former emerging victorious and the latter plummeting all the way down to the ground. The fact that the Chrysler Building is visible in the background leads to the presumption that the rooftop, and therefore the bank, is in New York City.

In Mortal Kombat 2011, The Rooftop has 3 versions. One normal pre invasion, one during the actual Outworld invasion, and one after the invasion showcasing the destruction.
